The Funtime Activity Centre provides an excellent environment for Lycar Education’s Alternative Provision as it allows pupils to engage in learning through movement, play and practical activities. The open, sensory- rich space helps to reduce anxiety and improve emotional regulation. The trampolines and soft play areas support development of coordination, confidence and focus. Activities are carefully structured alongside academic tasks to encourage engagement with reading, writing and numeracy whilst small groups sizes enable personalised support and build relationships in a safe and nurturning environment.
